Pet MD – Omega 3 Supplement – Fish Oil for Dogs
I’ve noticed that my German Shepherd’s coat is looking lackluster lately. I’ve tried to feed him quality food and snacks that would keep him healthy but it seems that isn’t enough. I decided to try Pet MD Omega 3 Supplement Fish Oil for Dogs. Pet MD Omega 3 Supplement Fish Oil for Dogs is a supplement designed especially for dogs like my Duke, who need a supplement to their food. Omega 3 Fish Oil is an important ingredient for many uses such as joint and bone health, brain, heart, and skin health as well. It works to add important oils to the skin and coat, reducing inflammation, irritation, and allergic reactions, as well as shedding and dry coat.

Pet MD Omega 3 Supplement Fish Oil for Dogs comes in a bottle of 180 softgels, each with 1,000 mg of fish oil, with 180 mg EPA and 120 mg DHA. The fish oil comes from wild caught cold water anchovy and sardine oil. These softgels can be given as a treat or in food. Duke turns his nose up at many treats and this was no exception.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to supplement their dog’s health, especially their coat. The only drawback for me is that it takes one softgel per 20 pounds of weight, which equates to 4 softgels each day for my dog. This is a lot of capsules to feed him versus using a squirt bottle type supplement.
