Country Crock Spread Review
Make It Yours Cookies with Country Crock Spread Review
I got a coupon from Country Crock and Influenster to try their Country Crock Spread, so I decided to make my own version of Make It Yours Cookies using Strawberry Shortcake M&Ms and decorative sprinkles for a Springtime treat! Everyone absolutely loved the cookies and begged for more! I will be buying more of those M&Ms because they make awesome cookies. And using Country Crock Spread made them light and chewy, not flattened out like some spreads do. Country Crock Spread has a taste that’s awesome on my biscuits and rolls, and it works well in baked goods as well. I love that they make a larger tub so I have plenty for baking. You can find the original recipe for Make It Yours Cookies on the Country Crock website, or just check it out below:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup Country Crock® Spread
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup Strawberry Shortcake M&Ms
1 container decorative colored sprinkles
Preheat oven to 375°. Grease baking sheets; set aside.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
Beat Country Crock® Spread with sugars until light and fluffy in large bowl with electric mixer, about 5 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla, scraping sides occasionally. Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in 1 cup Strawberry Shortcake M&Ms and 1 container decorative colored sprinkles. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden. Let stand 2 minutes on wire rack; remove from sheets and cool completely.
