As time goes on, I’ve noticed a lot of tiny (and some not-so-tiny) brown spots. I am not always as good about re-applying sunscreen like I should or making sure to have it on even when I’m going out for just a minute. Now I am paying for it! I got a bottle of Dark Spot Corrector from Key Largo Traders for a reduced price in exchange for a fair review. The Dark Spot Corrector comes in a small can-like container with a squirt pump on top. It pumps out anywhere from a drop to a quarter sized amount which I then apply to my skin wherever I need it. It is very silky going on and it absorbs very quickly. The after effect is smooth, soft skin that looks and feels well hydrated and healthy. I love that Key Largo Traders made this Dark Spot Corrector without adding hydroquinone or paraben, so I know it’s good for my skin. Instead, they used 72% organic plant based glycolic and kojic acids, along with hyaluronic acid to combat the wrinkles and fine lines that occur when skin is dehydrated. As a matter of fact, hyaluronic acid holds up to 1000 times its weight in water. Now that’s hydration!
I received a bottle of Garcinia Cambogia Dietary Supplement courtesy of Anchor for the purpose of an unbiased review. The following is 100% my own review and does not reflect the views of Anchor.
I’ve been trying out this Garcinia Cambogia Dietary Supplement and I thought I’d share a bit about it with you. First of all, it is a generous bottle with enough product to last for over a month if taken twice a day at the recommended dosage. One serving of this Garcinia Cambogia Dietary Supplement has 1,600 mg of Hydroxycitric Acid or HCA, and 400 mg Chlorogenic Acid or Green Coffee Bean Extract and just 12 calories per serving of 1 tablespoon. It has a berry lemon flavor with no sugar added. I find the flavor pleasant but the makers suggest mixing it with juice if you don’t care for the taste. It is suggested that Garcinia Cambogia Dietary Supplement be taken 1 hour prior to eating a meal, which I sometimes found hard to do.
I struggle with my weight because I have a severe back injury and I’m unable to do a lot of exercising. I have tried many different healthy forms of dieting and just haven’t been able to lose any significant amount. What few pounds I do lose I tend to gain back within days. I didn’t see a lot of weight loss myself while using the Garcinia Cambogia Dietary Supplement but I did notice an increase of energy. I feel that as I heal and am able to move around more I will continue to lose weight. I think eating a healthy meal and exercising is key to effectively losing and keeping the weight off.

Rader Farms #FreshStartForSummer taking summer by storm in my house!! I received Rader Farms Fresh Start Fusion Mix complimentary for the purpose of review. I tried it out on my hubby and son and they both loved it. Funny thing is, this mix has carrots and sweet potatoes in it. My husband HATES sweet potatoes. He can hardly stand seeing them on the table at Thanksgiving. Bummer for me because I LOVE them! Well, so I made the smoothies as directed the first time. I tasted the mixture and instantly knew I wouldn’t have much luck getting a decent idea of how good/bad they are unless I added some sweetener, so I added some honey. Both gave a thumbs up to the smoothie so I felt comfortable making another smoothie with a different flavor profile. I did do a video which can be seen on my Youtube channel- link to follow. I made a mistake part way through and realized my camera had shut off. Boy am I glad I didn’t use the whole bag! So, the new day I made a new batch and this time I double checked my camera- good to go!! I used strawberries, blueberries, acai berry puree, flax seeds, yogurt, and protein powder. The smoothies were so delicious!! Smooth, creamy, and no extra sweetener added! I am going to add some spinach leaves next time. 10 or 12 add nutrients without discoloring the smoothie or changing the taste, I promise! Try Rader Farms Fresh Start Fusion Mix for yourself. You’ll be glad you did!
Rader Farms Fresh Start Fusion Mix is available at Walmart Stores. My Youtube videos are here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VceBpPvwIc8 and here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1LEoWPhbK8. It’s a 2 parter 🙂
I was sent a bottle of Natural Vitamin C Serum from Island Vibrance free for the purpose of review. These are my opinions and do not reflect the views of Island Vibrance or its affiliates.
I was pretty excited to get the Natural Vitamin C Serum from Island Vibrance. I have been noticing a lot of little brown spots lately, and even more when I go out into the sun. I have been using sunscreen a lot but still these spots plague me. So I jumped at the chance to try this product out.
My initial sense of the Natural Vitamin C Serum from Island Vibrance was that it comes in a brown glass bottle- the type to keep light out. I don’t know if light is an issue or not but if it is, they’ve taken care to keep the product fresh. Inside is a glass dropper to deliver the product. I squeezed out a small pea sized drop onto my finger and applied it to my face. The serum is slightly more liquid than most serums I’ve used in the past, but has a smooth consistency. The drawback is that it leaves a slightly sticky feeling after use that doesn’t really go away.
It’s amazing how noticeable brown spots can be. I don’t need a magnifier to spot them and it seems like they multiply every night while I’m sleeping. But to show you the proof is next to impossible. The darn things are virtually invisible to the camera’s eye. I had hoped to show before and after pics. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get a clear enough picture to make it worthwhile. But I have a spot on my cheek which has been bothering me a lot. I thought it would be a good one to do my test on. I have 2 products and 2 sides of the face. Each day I faithfully applied the Natural Vitamin C Serum from Island Vibrance on the left side of my face and arm and the other product on the right side of my face and arm. 2 weeks later I am noticing a reduction in color in the small spots on my arms and hands. Both did help lessen the spots I already had and they also seemed to keep new ones at bay. But the real kicker was that darn spot on my cheek. It’s not only lighter, it also looks much smaller. I think if I continue to use the Natural Vitamin C Serum from Island Vibrance I can look forward to clearer skin!

I’ve heard a lot about credit card theft and how people can get their ID stolen without even taking it out of their purse. I am thankful that I haven’t had this happen to me, but I thought I should look into something that would ease my mind and protect my identity at the same time. I am loving my new #BLOCKIT RFID Blocking Sleeves. They’re cute, sturdy, and completely enclose my cards for security! They have the #BLOCKIT RFID Blocking material on the inside and colorful designs on the outside. They come in a set of six and can also be ordered in other patterns. I feel confident that my card is being held in place and that the RFID block will keep my identity safe, no matter where I go.

I just finished reading Ascension (Journey of the Arcanist Book 2) by M. R. Coleman and I just had to tell you about it. Wow, this book really kept me going all the way through. It starts out with an elven couple, Ruen and Auren, as they return home after a long time away. In the first chapter many references are made regarding what happened in the first book to acquaint the reader if they were not familiar with it, as was I. I appreciated the references and noted that they were woven into the storyline nicely. It was easy to fall right into the story and get to know the characters. In no time, they were joined by Hiram, a friend of Ruen, and Dyshera, a magi. Soon all 4 leave on a journey together as Ruen has been tasked with reviving the Leunari, an ancient caste of elven warriors.
At the same time in a different place, Callum, a human, finds that his home town has been attacked and all the people there have been slaughtered or abducted by Krelns. Callum is a saejin, trained to hunt and destroy mages by tearing their spells from their minds and often using them on the mage that cast them. Callum immediately goes to seek revenge on all Kreln, attracting attention to himself from a magus that is with an evil group of marauders led by their mistress, Lady Mythrael. Lady Mythrael quickly sends out a scouting party to find and kill Callum, but….
Have I got your attention yet? It’s hard not to get drawn into this story, I tell you. Full of symbolism and color, it moves at a great pace through 2 intertwining stories and at the end leaves me wondering how I got there so fast!
I received a copy of Ascension (Journey of the Arcanist Book 2) from the author for the purpose of review. Any and all opinions are my own and not reflective of the author.
I would definitely recommend Ascension (Journey of the Arcanist Book 2) by M. R. Coleman to anyone who wishes to read something exciting and colorful this summer. Better yet, grab a copy of the first book, Aurora (Journey of the Arcanist Book 1), and read the series from the beginning. You’ll be glad you did!
