The Inn at Ocean’s Edge by Colleen Coble review and Family Christian $25.00 giveaway

I’ve been reading a new book by Colleen Coble and I’m in love with her writing. The book, The Inn at Ocean’s Edge, was provided free of charge for the purpose of review. Just so you know, I review based on my own opinions and my review does not reflect the views of the author or Family Christian.
I found The Inn at Ocean’s Edge to be very entertaining. The Hotel Tourmaline in Folly Shoals, Maine is celebrating the 4th of July. 4 year old Claire Dellamare is celebrating her birthday on the same day when she disappears, only to turn up a year later with no explanation what had happened to her. Now, a grown up Claire has returned to the Hotel Tourmaline- this time to surprise her parents and help with a business meeting- when she has such strong, disturbing feelings that she has a panic attack. Not understanding why she was feeling this way, Claire tries to overcome the feelings by going to the beach for a walk. She sees what appears to be a man pushing a woman from the cliff above the beach to her death. Horrified, Claire begins to remember why this Hotel brings back such dark feelings in her. What really happened to her when she was 4? And why did everyone cover it up? And what about the woman who was killed right in front of her?

This book grabbed me right from the start. Colleen Coble’s way of twisting and turning the plot are delicious and leave you wanting more. It’s a great story for a summer read!

Best of all, The Inn at Ocean’s Edge and many other great books are available at Family Christian. And to help you with the cost Family Christian has graciously offered a $25 Family Christian certificate to use online or at your local Family Christian.
